Our Story

Where We’ve been….

    Quality Time

Our early summer camps, known affectionately as “Camp Run-A-Muck”, began with a desire to spend quality time with our nephews and inspiration from a simple Bible verse. In Luke 12:48, Jesus states “To whom much is given, much will be required.” In other words, we are held responsible for what we have. When we are blessed with talents, knowledge, wisdom, time, wealth and the like, it is expected that we use these well to glorify God and to benefit others. Throughout our married life we have intentionally shared what God has entrusted to us with others.

    Our First Camp

Our first camp had two campers. Each year thereafter, our camp grew to include more boys, but, by design our camp has remained small and has consisted of boys ranging in age from four to eighteen.

    Strong Values

it has been our hearts’ desire to mentor boys and girls and to instill in them Biblical principles and stories, strong character traits, entrepreneurial skills, a desire to serve others, to experience craftmanship and building things by hand, all while having fun! We have had the time of our lives boating, tubing, wake boarding, fishing and the like, all while using real-time experiences to teach life lessons and build character.

    Our desire is to....

Invest more time and resources into developing a Christian camp for boys and girls has become our dream. Our goal has always been to support and provide mentoring and education to families, churches, schools and society in general. By doing so, we expect to foster the development of the next generation of men and women that will lead and nurture families with Christian values and integrity.
